Dr. Bimal Tennakoon (BVSc. MSc.)
Dr. Bimal Tennakoon is a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian who leads East End Veterinary Hospital with expertise. He has spent years earning a reputation for genuinely caring about the health and happiness of pets and their families.
Dr. Tennakoon began his journey in 2009 after graduating from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka. In 2019, he completed a valuable internship at the Veterinary Specialty Center, gaining experience in advanced treatments and complex cases, which sharpened his skills in veterinary medicine.
With over five years of experience as a Hospitalist and Emergency Veterinarian at a busy emergency clinic, Dr. Tennakoon has navigated numerous challenging situations. His calm and focused demeanour ensures pets receive the necessary care, even in critical circumstances.
Dr. Tennakoon stands out for his compassion. He recognizes the strong connection that pets share with their families and works to ensure that every visit is a comfortable experience for both pets and their owners. His friendly and approachable nature has endeared him to clients and their furry companions.
